New services for communication freelancers in Quebec

For more than eight years, Sparkling, through its founder David Pieropan, has run the group La gang des pigistes, a hub bringing together more than 45,000 members across Quebec.

To strengthen this community and offer services tailored to independent communication professionals, Sparkling launched the Talents créatifs project.

This innovative network aims to unite freelancers, provide them with development tools and exclusive benefits, all while building a platform for exchange and resources dedicated to the specific needs of this industry.

About the project

Talents créatifs was born from a desire to strengthen and structure the freelance community, drawing on the experience of David Pieropan, who has already been running La gang des pigistes for more than eight years.

With an audience that today reaches nearly 45,000 members, it was essential to create a dedicated infrastructure capable of offering these professionals a range of tailored services and of showcasing their expertise in a constantly evolving sector.

A dedicated platform

The project is built around several complementary components. First, Sparkling designed and rolled out an online platform through BetterMode. This platform acts as a meeting point for freelancers, enabling not only the sharing of information and job opportunities, but also the forging of connections between members.

The goal was to create a collaborative environment where every professional can find resources, share opportunities and rely on a strong network.

A group insurance program

At the heart of Talents créatifs is also a groundbreaking group insurance program, the first of its kind in Quebec, designed for freelancers and small businesses in the communication sector. This program offers comprehensive coverage tailored to the specific needs of independent workers, along with a highly competitive system of discounts and perks.

Thanks to strategic partnerships, the program offers more than twenty discounts on software, leisure activities and various services, boosting the network’s appeal and delivering real added value to members.

Freelance opportunities online

Beyond the platform and the insurance program, Sparkling also handled the moderation and animation of the Facebook group dedicated to Talents créatifs. This group, a genuine space for exchange and sharing, allows freelancers to stay informed of the latest job opportunities, take part in enriching discussions and benefit from constant professional monitoring.

The weekly newsletter, meanwhile, delivers opportunities and news each week to thousands of freelancers, ensuring effective and regular communication with the entire community.
