Sexual violence prevention videos in sport for the SPVM

The “Terrain interdit” project, developed for the Service de police de la Ville de Montréal (SPVM), aims to raise awareness of sexual violence among young athletes and coaches in sports associations. Across five dynamic episodes of 3 to 5 minutes, the series tackles essential topics such as sexual assault, consent, relationships of authority, initiation rituals, and the resources available to victims.

The project stands out for its striking visual approach, combining animation, motion design, and images generated by artificial intelligence. Designed to be broadcast online and on social media, the videos are also used by police officers during in-person presentations to support their educational work.

Hosted by Reatchy Legros and Leila Aziza, the five episodes make sensitive subjects accessible by adapting the message to the reality of young people aged 16 to 22. Each capsule offers a clear explanation of a specific theme, while pointing to resources and solutions for those who may be affected.

The use of varied visual techniques, such as animation created by Studio Cagoule and AI-generated visuals, makes it possible to address complex situations in a respectful and understandable way. These videos are not only digital tools; they also serve as support material during in-person training sessions and workshops in schools and sports settings.
