So AI Doesn't Take Over Everything in 2025

Sharing my thinking, in three short articles that will probably shake you up, but that will give you hope.

As you know, my 2024 was full of experiments and reflection around artificial intelligence.

In particular, I’ve thought a lot about the place we, as humans, need to keep in creation. I decided to share my thinking with you, in three short articles that will probably shake you up, but that will give you hope.

Think of it as a manifesto on human creativity for the future.

  1. First, the collapse — the upheaval threatens our work, our bearings, and our creativity.

  2. Then, the pivot — how we can adapt, find concrete strategies, stay creative, and communicate better in the age of AI.

  3. Finally, the renaissance — the path to a renewal, where humans can redefine what truly matters and, above all, keep control.

The collapse: what does that even mean?

Artificial intelligence is getting more powerful, and fast. Very fast. It already generates text, images, music on demand.

Some worry about losing their jobs. Others wonder if AI will one day control everything. What will be the place of humans in all this?

The real truth? Nobody knows, and nobody can claim to.

But I think doing nothing would be the worst response. The solution is to accept it, understand it, and above all… master it.

Humanity’s dominance over every other species tells us that intelligence, above all, is what’s valued on this planet. And one of our own creations seems to be becoming more intelligent than us… so we have to keep control over it at all costs.

What’s happening right now?

AI produces faster and faster, and more and more easily. Content seems to sit literally at the bottom of the complexity pyramid for AI. The result: everyone and their neighbour can write a decent text or generate a nice image.

Content is becoming too abundant, almost disposable.

The traditional model of making a living by creating content, for example, is weakening because AI already knows how to do “good” work, or automate it, at zero cost. Creative talent risks being outpaced very quickly by increasingly powerful algorithms. It’s already happening.

Finally, the flood of content drowns out creativity. The more content there is, the harder it becomes to stand out, to be different, to be unique.

In a universe saturated with content, average content just blends into the crowd.

Don’t lose hope

I deliberately used the word “collapse” for dramatic effect.

Even if the term can be scary, personally, I remain optimistic. Why? Because AI is still a tool, and it does what it’s told. But also, one very, very important thing: it’s still humans who decide what’s good and what isn’t.

It’s still humans who choose to make a transaction, or not. Humans remain at the start and at the end of the chain. So the tasks being replaced right now were only ever “temporarily” carried out by humans.

In the next article, I’ll talk about the “pivot”: what concrete strategies to adopt to stay relevant in a world saturated with automated content? How do you communicate with sincerity when feeds are flooded with text and images produced by AI?

And above all: what will humans look for and value in the years ahead?
