Our favourite tools for optimizing our time and resources

We have a team of passionate people with complementary skills and talents, but above all, we have a lot of tools at our disposal. Some are well known, others less so, but they’re accessible to everyone. No need for a background in audiovisual or a degree in communications!

5 tools for day-to-day management
1- Asana
Asana is a really handy tool for managing projects as a team. We create a project for each client and can lay out tasks in different formats: a timeline, a calendar, a Gantt chart, and more. Each task can then be assigned to a colleague or to yourself, with a deadline attached. It lets you follow a project’s progress at a glance. We also use it for Sparkling’s editorial calendar — once a post is scheduled, it gets marked as complete.
2- Slack
It’s like a team chat, but conversations are organized by topic. That way, we avoid emails, people forgotten in cc, and make sure everyone has the same information at the same time. We’ve created a channel per project/client, another for internal process updates, one for approval requests, and finally our two favourite channels, #fun-fun-fun and #animaux, dedicated to… fun and animals!
3- Agorapulse
This platform lets you schedule posts across all your favourite social networks at the same time. Really handy for content planning and for getting a nice overview of your calendar.
4- Simple Texting
This is a simple online platform for planning text/SMS campaigns or automations. Same principle as a newsletter, but shorter and without images. You choose the text, the link, and the send date, and schedule it in advance.
5- Antidote
We can’t say it enough: spelling mistakes aren’t professional. When we manage your brands, we make sure there’s no missing “s” or mixed-up homophone in the copy.
