When talents join forces to demystify medical jargon. Savoir Média, always on the lookout for new ways to inform and educate, has newly partnered with Sparkling, a team known for its creative flair. Their mission? Produce 20 educational capsules to demystify medical jargon.
The result? La clinique des mots, an original series aiming to break down the barriers between complex medical terms and the general public. With the help of host Jessica Léveillée-Lemay, each episode dives into the etymology of a medical term, offering a deeper and more accessible understanding. Cancer, the brain, hormones… it’s all covered. Curious to see what it looks like? All episodes are available on Savoir Média’s web platform, app, and TV channel.
Behind this project are the contributions of Félix Charest as director, and François De Grandpré along with Sébastien Guidon on scripts. All the capsules were shot and produced in Sparkling’s multidisciplinary studio. The Sparkling team innovated for this project by installing a green screen in their studio, for enhanced versatility and creativity!
A little bonus for humour lovers: expect a few well-placed jokes sprinkled throughout the episodes. This project also received support from the Office québécois de la langue française.
